Pharmacovigilance Associate

The Pharmacovigilance Associate is responsible for supporting safety reporting in pharmaceutical market research projects. This role entails attending client-mandated PV training, ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Technical Complaints (PTCs), and coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors to maintain compliance with regulatory and client-specific requirements. The Associate also monitors PV training and oversees subcontractor adherence to guarantee end-to-end compliance and data integrity in all safety reporting processes.

Job description:
The Pharmacovigilance Associate is responsible for supporting safety reporting in pharmaceutical market research projects. This role entails attending client-mandated PV training, ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Technical Complaints (PTCs), and coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors to maintain compliance with regulatory and client-specific requirements. The Associate also monitors PV training and oversees subcontractor adherence to guarantee end-to-end compliance and data integrity in all safety reporting processes.

The right candidate to apply for this job is a university degree holder related to Business Administration or equivalent knowledge area.

The position reports to the Quality & Compliance Officer.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Attend and complete any client-required training on Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Technical Complaint (PTC) reporting procedures, including initial or refresher sessions, delivered either in person or as specified by the client.
  • Ensure all Aqurance staff and external parties involved in market research activities—such as field subcontractors—are aware of AE/PTC safety reporting obligations.
  • Act as the designated point of contact for receiving, managing, and forwarding AE/PTC reports submitted by subcontractors.
  • Report all AE/PTCs to the respective client in a timely and accurate manner, aligned with Aqurance’s SOPs and client-specific procedures.
  • Serve as the liaison for all AE/PTC-related communication with the client and internally with the Head of Market Research.
  • Prepare, execute, and maintain AE/PTC reconciliation reports per project, ensuring consistency and completeness of all reported cases.

You will need to possess skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing documentation or monitoring third parties
  • Risk-based thinking and process-oriented mindset
  • Coordination with internal stakeholders (e.g., Head of Market Research) and external clients
  • Strong record-keeping and archiving practices in line with GxP standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Ability to daily use and understand the workings of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint & OneDrive
  • Familiarity with document management systems
  • Comfortable working with SOPs, logs, and training trackers

Previous working experience in a corporate environment will be an asset. Related professional certifications are welcome. 

Excellent command of both Greek and English languages is required.
