AQURANCE WHISTLEBLOWING POLICY

Aqurance attributes paramount importance to ensuring the highest standards of ethics, morality, and legal business conduct, while expecting all members of its board of directors, executive officers, employees, and third-party suppliers thereof, as well as those of its affiliated companies, to meet high standards of personal and professional integrity and to avoid any behavior that could have an adverse impact on the operation and reputation of Aqurance.

Aqurance aims to: 

Emphasize the paramount importance it places on reporting unfair practices coming into the attention of its employees and/or third-party Suppliers, by adopting the relevant existing procedures at a policy level;
Encourage its employees and/or third-party suppliers to take initiative and report in good faith any information regarding potential breaches of legislation or irregularities or other negligent behaviors that comes into their attention during the performance of their duties, ensuring that such information will be received with objectivity and confidentiality; and
Strengthen the trust of its employees and/or third-party suppliers in the established reporting procedures and in the protection of good-faith whistleblowers providing assurance that, if they need to report any irregularity or legal violation, they will be provided with maximum protection and confidentiality, if desired, without suffering any form of retaliations.

How to submit a report

Aqurance encourages whistleblowers to submit their reports openly, stating their full name when submitting a report, so that the Receiving and Monitoring Reports Officer (RMRO) can request clarification and subsequently provide updates during the investigation. However, if the whistleblower chooses to remain anonymous, it is possible to submit an anonymous report and establish communication between the Receiving and Monitoring Reports Officer (RMRO) and the whistleblower.

Any employee or other individual wishing to make a report may do so through one of the channels set out below: 

(i) By submitting a report an anonymous or named report via email to the email address: whistleb@aqurance.com.
(ii) By submitting an anonymous or named report verbally by calling Aqurance’s dedicated whistleblowing hotline: +30 2111070199. It should be noted that telephone reports are answered by an answering machine, and the message is initially recorded, then transcribed and stored in a word file, and afterwards it is submitted for evaluation by the Receiving and Monitoring Reports Officer (RMRO).
(iii) By submitting an anonymous or named report via the online whistleblowing platform of Aqurance’s external partner, WhistleB, which is available on Aqurance’s website at the link: https://report.whistleb.com/en-GB/aqurance.
The communication and reporting channels mentioned in paragraphs (i), (ii), and (iii) above operate exclusively for the receipt of reports and are available at all times and days of the week.
(iv) By submitting an anonymous or named report in writing by sending a letter by post to Aqurance’s headquarters: 62 Kifissias Avenue, Polis Center, Maroussi, Attica, Postal Code 15125, Greece, In the attention of the: Receiving and Monitoring Reports Officer (RMRO).
(v) By submitting a named report verbally through a face-to-face meeting with the Receiving and Monitoring Reports Officer (RMRO), upon the whistleblowers’ request.
